The VEO BA-185 Arca Compatible Binocular Tripod Adaptor allows you to mount your binoculars onto a tripod or monopod for stable viewing, either directly or on an Arca compatible tripod head without the need for an additional quick release plate.

To attach the VEO BA-185 Arca to the binocular, simply take off the cap on the front of your binoculars between the objective lenses to reveal the 1/4" threaded socket and screw in the adaptor tightly.

To attach the VEO BA-185 Arca (and binoculars) directly to the tripod/monopod, then simply screw the adaptor onto the 1/4" thread.  Please note, it will not fit a 3/8" thread that can be found on larger tripods.  In this case, you will need to attach the VEO BA-185 Arca to a tripod head.

To attach the VEO BA-185 Arca (and binoculars) onto an Arca compatible tripod head, simply place the base of the VEO BA-185 Arca into the clamp of your tripod head and tighten. This has the added advantages of the most solid grip with no risk of the adaptor loosening in use, no need to spend extra money on a spare quick release plate, and using a tripod head allows you to aim the binoculars much more easily.

The VEO BA-185 Arca (and binoculars) can also fit onto any tripod head that is not Arca compatible, but it will need a separate quick release plate designed for that tripod head.  Simply screw the adaptor onto the 1/4" thread of the quick release plate and use the tripod head as normal. This retains the advantage of allowing you to aim the binoculars much more easily than on a tripod or monopod.
